Maya the Bee Movie - Review and Competition

We were lucky enough to go to a screening of the Maya the Bee Movie a little while ago, and now the film in coming to UK cinemas in just a few days.  It will be out on the 23rd October, so definitely have a look to see which cinemas it's in near you, it would make a great half term activity!


It's such a sweet movie about Maya the Bee, a character that you may already know and love from the books and television show, going on an adventure and finding her way.  You really get to know and love all of the characters in the film, and of course you're rooting for sweet little Maya to find where she fits in.  She's got a sweet little friend called Willy who just gets her from the start, and they make a very cute pair going on adventures together.  



After we came home from watching the movie Ethan really loved Maya and now asks to watch the show as well.  She's definitely a loveable little character, and her journey throughout the film makes a great talking point for children about how everybody's different and that we should celebrate those differences.  We would definitely recommend everyone to go and see this cute movie.
